The cook is responsible for increasing sales and maximizing profits in his/her department. He pans the production of the various menus and carries out the production of these menus. He ensures excellence in terms of product quality and presentation and advises consumers on the products specific to his/her department in order to build customer loyalty.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to the menus defined by his/her supervisor;
- Ensure the exceptional quality of the products in terms of both content and presentation;
- Plan the production efficiently in order to produce a quantity that meets the needs and thus reduce the losses to a minimum;
- Innovate in the presentation of products and in the variety of menus;
- Use kitchen tools and equipment safely;
- Respect and apply food safety standards and procedures;
- Respect all governmental standards regarding labeling and recipe compliance;
- Provide exceptional, courteous and efficient customer service at all times;
- Clean and maintain sanitary work areas, sales areas, tools and equipment;
- Other related duties.
Requirements :
- You have a diploma in cooking or have relevant experience to perform the duties of the position;
- You have great skills in product presentation and gastronomy;
- Your personality is characterized by your dynamism, your interpersonal skills and your innovative spirit.
